I am proud to announce the publication of my second needlework pattern: Castle a la Sherwood Forest Faire.
Worked in strips, this quilted wall hanging can easily be made by a confident beginner. Advanced quilters can add their special touches to the piece as well, creating a unique decoration with a touch of history.
Each year, Sherwood Forest Faire holds various fundraisers to benefit RESCU, a non-profit organization that provides medical assistance to Renaissance faire workers. In 2016, Sherwood raised more money for RESCU than any other faire in the nation! I donated the original wall hanging to the silent auction segment of the 2017 rally. I hope the winner remembers Sherwood Forest Faire and RESCU each time they look at the quilt.
