Full Moon Howl: A Montague and Strong Detective Novel (Montague & Strong Case Files, Volume 2), Orlando A. Sanchez – Review

This second case of the Montague and Strong Detective Agency finds infected werewolves roaming New York City and attacking innocents. The Dark Council hires Simon and Tristan to investigate the matter. Evidence suggests that a mage is the source of the problem, but the only mage strong enough to work this level of magic is Tristan. Can Simon and Tristan uncover the source of the infection before war breaks out in the supernatural community?

While not quite as snarky as the first volume, this book continues Sanchez’s semi-irreverent approach to supernatural creatures and situations. The dialog and action scenes are quite enjoyable, and more details about both Simon and Tristan come to light. All in all, this is a very nice addition to the series.
